It all started with 88 keys! Eric began performing on an old upright piano at his parents' tavern, The KORN KRIB, along with Sunday services at the Latham United Methodist Church. Growing up on a farm in Latham, Illinois, family, love, and hometown memories are the inspiration behind Eric’s music.

Eric’s latest EP, Hey Maker is a love song collection of 6 tracks including 4 previous releases ("You're My Hometown", "Love It All Goodbye", "Angel To Save Me", and "Sometimes Late At Night"), a bonus track, "Right In Front of You", which shows off Eric's piano chops, and the /title track to the EP, "Hey Maker", which describes a personal conversation with God and being amazed about how he can bring that special someone into your life.
Originally written as his personal wedding song, Burgett’s latest radio single, “Sometimes Late At Night,” peaked at #26 on the Music Row CountryBreakout Chart, also creating exposure on the Billboard Indicator chart. Eric and his wife, Aimee, were married at The Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, where he surprised her with this song for their first dance. This release has become one of his most successful singles to date, gaining over 2 Million streams.
Eric has performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show, filmed at the Grand Ole Opry house, as part of a special tribute to CreatiVets. Eric’s passion for helping veterans through music led to the releases of “I’ll See You Again” and “The Man I Love To Hate,” co-written and performed by Eric. Both singles were released by Big Machine Label Group and featured on Spotify’s Veteran’s Day Country Compilation playlist and 9/11: Never Forget playlist.
Anheuser-Busch, Miller Lite, Flag & Anthem, Monument Grills, and Farm Focused are among Eric’s brand partnerships. In addition, Hardee’s Corporation previously supported Eric by sponsoring a music campaign, including an official music video and radio tour for his release, “Swing Low, Sweet Old Cadillac,”which climbed to #28 on the Music Row CountryBreakout Chart.
Eric is signed with Bow to Stern Group headed by Grammy-nominated producer Matt McClure. Eric tours across the country and has opened shows for such artists as Chris Stapleton, Rodney Atkins, Lee Brice, Charlie Worsham, Phil Vassar, Clint Black, Jana Kramer, Craig Morgan, Jim Brickman, and the list goes on.
